Studied parameters of homeostasis, the state of adaptation mechanisms and nonspecific resistance at the stages of pregnancy in 154 women with obesity and 90 - underweight. Complex clinical and laboratory techniques have revealed the nature of the hypothalamic changes in body weight. The control group was 107 pregnant women with normal weight-height correlation. Screening of pregnant women includes a study of metabolic parameters, evaluation of adaptive reactions. At the surveyed patients during pregnancy revealed different adaptive strategies: excessive and prolonged sympathetic-adrenal activation in women with altered body weight throughout gestation, in the control group expressed less stress coping mechanisms was observed only in the first and third trimester. Gestational complications, metabolic status and dissonance disbiotic nonspecific resistance factors significantly more frequently recorded in the study group. It is advisable to carry out activities for the enhancement of adaptive responses in women with obesity and underweight in step preconception preparation
