Public apologies in Russian politics: experience of phenomenological analysis

The article is devoted to the experience of public apologies of Russian politicians: the authors explicate the basic reasons, consider the patterns that affecting the outcome of the conflict. Seven cases were analyzed (from 2012 to 2021); conflicts involving politicians were divided according to the type of outcome, the time of the apology and the person apologizing. Conclusions are drawn about the specifics of the outcome of the conflict in public apologies; the culture of political apologies in Russia was analyzed.
