Publication of department of economic history and information technologies in the scientific journal "Economic history"

In the article the priority directions of scientific researches of department of economic history and information technologies and their publication in the scientific magazine «Economic History» are analyzed. The author noted that the collective of the department has been studied and highlighted a number of actual problems of Russian economic history: the processes of modernization, industrial and agricultural development, history of entrepreneurship, economic policies and reforms, the history of the financial and credit system, the evolution of tax systems, etc. The structure and the profile of the Center allow to develop cliometric (quantitative) tradition, and also to realize the new perspective directions in economic history.
