Publication of Sochinsky "Dendrary" collection in GBIF

Publication of collection data in the Global Biodiversity Information System (Global Biodiversity Information Facility, GBIF) provides botanic gardens with new opportunities to participate in programs for the conservation and reproduction of natural flora, not only individual regions, but also the floristic wealth of the planet. The collection fund of the Sochi Arboretum in Sochi has more than 1,800 taxa of the species level and below. Information about foreign and local plants growing on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus is of scientific interest, their publication in the Global Biodiversity Information System enhances the scientific value of the collection.
