Publication activity as a subject of scientific analysis while forming research tools (on the materials of the Republic of Buryatia)

The publication activity of scientific and educational organizations is included into the system of accreditation indicators as one of the requirements for the quality of education established in accordance with the Federal Law [2; 3]. The purpose of the study is to show the effectiveness of scientific methods of the publication activity analysis and illustrate its nature on the example of the leading scientific and educational institutions of Buryatia. The research objectives were set as follows: a) to identify the features of the publication activity of the leading scientific and educational institutions of Buryatia using the method of quantitative analysis; b) to study the mechanism of research activities of the organizations with the use of open and publicly available sources. It was suggested that the studied period of 2017-2020 will give a general idea of the nature of the publication activity of the leading scientific and educational institutions of Buryatia and of its tendencies.
