The article analyzes publishing activity of teachers of Leningrad Theological Academy in 1958-1964, during the period of the so-called Khrushchev’s persecutions. The subject of consideration is theological articles by professors of the Academy, published in the “Journal of Moscow Patriarchate” and “Theological Works” collection. These publications are divided into rubrics according to the following topics: 1) biblical studies; 2) theology; 3) patrology; 4) history; 5) church-practical disciplines; 6) heterodoxy, ecumenical activity. The predominance of articles devoted to the so-called fight for peace is shown. At the same time, it is noted that a number of works - by Prof. A. I. Ivanov, priest Mikhail Mudyugin, Bishop Mikhail (Chub), Prof. N. D. Uspensky - are distinguished by a high scientific level. It is concluded that against the background of the anti-religious campaign unfolded in the country, the very fact of continuing research at Leningrad Theological Academy, manifesting itself particularly in the publication activity of professors, is perceived as a kind of resistance of the academic corporation to state pressure. It is also noted that individual articles retain their scientific value to this day.
