The way of development of Russia: the westernizm of A. I. Herzen in modern reading

In the article, the issue concerning ways of Russia's development in Herzen's creativity is being observed. Topicality of addressing this issue is pointed out, and its reinterpretation in terms of new historical conditions is proposed. It is concluded that without the knowledge of the true foundation of Russia's culture, the spiritual renaissance and development of an individuality are impossible.
