Shamanism has held and continues to occupy an important place in culture Khakas people. It is related not only to the personality of the shaman and all that was associated with him - way of thinking, attributes, rituals, etc. The power of shamanism extends to many aspects of society: rituals, myths, morals, behaviors, etc. In this connection actuality of study of shamanism is undoubted - the most ancient and most difficult complex of religious views of Khakases. Author of the article introduces the scientific use unique archival materials Khakas shamanism, including the traditional representations about formation of shamans. It provides a detailed, step description of a Khakas shaman ritual T. Yukteshev. Presented shamanic chants, and an appeal to töses - spirits-helpers. Detailed «topography» of the other world is stated. The description of inhabitants of this mythical space is given.
