Ways to achieve equivalence at the translation of military materials from Chinese to Russian language (on the example of analysis from the PLA regulations)

This article examines ways of choosing methods of achieving terminological equivalence and accuracy of the translation of military texts. Based on the analysis of the most difficult lexical units found in the PLA charter, common mistakes are identified in the transfer of military materials from Chinese into Russian and methods for resolving such issues are proposed. The object of military transfer is considered: military materials. They are classified according to the type of destination. It is concluded that in order to achieve the adequacy and equivalence of the translation of the text, it is necessary not only to be fluent in the language and vocabulary of the translation, but also to have strong and deep background knowledge.
