The article examines the conceptions of “functional literacy” and “electronic educational resources”. In addition to theoretical issues, much att ention is paid to the practical activities of primary school teachers, methods of improving mathematical literacy as one of the components of functional literacy. The methodology has been tested, implemented by the teacher in practical activities, and gives positive results.
