Ways to increase the level of readiness of the Russian guard servicemen for interethnic professional communication

The importance of increasing the level of readiness of the Russian National Guard servicemen for interethnic communication for the successful performance of service and combat tasks in a multinational military team is substantiated. Cognitive (formation of an ethnocultural picture of the world, background knowledge necessary for successful communication) and emotional (exchange of knowledge, ideas, thoughts, concepts and emotions between people from different cultures) aspects of interethnic communication are highlighted. The main factors influencing the interethnic communication of servicemen (multi-ethnic composition, language differences, diversity of religious beliefs, stereotypes and the presence of bias, strict hierarchy and subordination) are identified. The forms and methods of training that contribute to increasing the level of readiness for interethnic professional communication of the Russian Guard servicemen are defined (trainings on the basics of intercultural communication, Days of Culture of Different Nations, tournaments in national sports, round tables, joint participation in volunteer projects, off-site educational events, watching thematic films and holding discussions, ethnographic quests, modeling conflict situations). It is concluded that the formation of tolerance, the implementation of pedagogical strategies aimed at developing interethnic competence will make a significant contribution to ensuring stability and social harmony, will help strengthen the unity of a multinational society.
