Suicidal behavior is a pressing ethical, moral, social and medical problem. Between 873,000 and 1 million people worldwide commit suicide every year, including 163,000 in the European Region. Suicide is the 13th leading cause of death worldwide, and in the 15-35 age range in Europe, it ranks second after road traffic accidents. An estimated 10 to 20 times more people commit suicide, which makes this form of auto-aggression the 6th leading cause of disability in the world. Prevention of suicidal behavior is an important social task, the implementation of which is possible only with the integration of the efforts of many specialists in different fields into a single preventive strategy.
