Ways of realization of national self-determination of the Tatar population in Russia in the early XX century

For the history of Tatarstan 90-ies of XX century are of particular importance, as in this period the question of granting sovereignty and further development of the region. This work is devoted to the problem of sovereignty formation in Tatarstan. The relevance of this topic is primarily due to the fact that today Tatarstan is one of the richest regions of Russia, which has a large raw material base, high scientific and technical potential, the largest machine-building industries of the country are concentrated here. Such opportunities of Tatarstan put the question of increasing its political and legal independence at the head.
