Ways to implement a practice-oriented approach in higher education institutions

The dynamic development of the modern educational environment actualizes the need of the academic sphere to adapt to the rapidly changing requirements of the labor market. Of particular importance in this context is the focus on the practical application of knowledge, which contributes to the formation of university graduates as sought-after and competitive specialists. The presented study discusses the results of the scientific analysis of the implementation of practice orientation in higher education institutions. The introduction reinforces the relevance of this process. In addition, the article comprehends the fundamental practice-oriented paradigms in education, analyzes innovative concepts in the field of integrating practice into university education, identifies fundamental technologies and strategies that stimulate the effective implementation of this methodology. The reasons for the need to use a practice-oriented approach in higher education institutions are given. The main trends in the development of tools in this area are also emphasized. To substantiate the effectiveness of the use of methods and means of practice orientation in universities, the opinions of experts, including university teachers and enterprise employees, were studied, the results of which are presented in the article. The survey was conducted using questionnaires posted in Google Forms, 31 experts took part in it. To summarize, the authors analyze the key trends influencing the transformation of higher education and propose a set of measures to implement practice-oriented learning. This study has the potential to become a useful tool in the implementation of a practice-oriented approach in higher education institutions in many regions of the Russian Federation.
