The paper studies the retail loan portfolio in terms of urgency and credit products provided. The Deposit retail portfolio is analyzed in terms of urgency and two main segments of the customer base are identified. The priority in the implementation of the principle of customer focus in accordance with the current trends in the development of the banking sector is quality service and ease of service. In order to optimize the customer base it is necessary to follow the approach «customer-oriented banking business».
