The transformation of employment is one of the trends of the modern labor market. Under the influence of many factors that caused changes in labor demand and labor supply, the standard employment typical of industrial economies of the twentieth century began to recede into the background, giving way to less stable forms of securing social and labour relations. In contrast to the stable wage employment under open-ended employment contract and full working day, such forms of employment as incomplete and secondary employment, temporary employment, self-employment, etc. are becoming more and more widespread. Despite the increased attention of the scientific community to this topic, currently there is no unified view on the impact of precarious employment on economic development and quality of working life of the working population.
