The concept of a rational agent is inaccurate and therefore needs to be clarified when used in real applications. This article is devoted to the analysis of the variant of the system of rational agents, which naturally arises with adaptive database management. They are represented as probabilistic automata in which the transition probabilities are flexibly recalculated depending on the evaluation of the result of the work and the "well-being" of the RA. This required clarification in this case of the concept of a probability automaton and their system, which is the main goal of the article. Possible structures for controlling RA systems that do not use direct commands are considered. The conditions under which it is expedient to use a centralized and collectivist structure are clarified.
