The author analyzed the range of radiation pollution and most famous radiation accidents: Windscale (1957), Tree-Mile-Island (1975), Production Association "Mayak" (1957), Chernobyl (1986). The author studied researches of other foreign scientists on characteristics of consequences of radiation accidents, also questions of international collaboration in the sphere of overcoming medical, social and ecological consequences of influence of radiation.
