Raft-forming lipids of membranes of mitochondria and chloroplasts of halophyte Halocnemum strobilaceum

Бесплатный доступ

The composition of lipids of raft structures isolated from the membranes of mitochondria and chloroplasts of annual shoots of the wild halophyte Halocnemum strobilaceum was investigated. In the zone of opalescence obtained by centrifugation of biological material in a sucrose gradient, a high content of sterols, cerebrosides and saturated fatty acids was found. Based on the data obtained, it was suggested that the functional role of rafts may be associated with the salt tolerance of the halophyte Halocnemum strobilaceum.
