The article considers the early stage of the Manchu state formation. The role of Nurhachi in forming the original state institutes of authority in the Jurchen society is shown. The author draws attention to the contradictory trends in the politogenetic processes of the Jurchen society reflecting the struggle of the political interests of the tribal nobility and the emerging state
