The early soybean variety Krasa was de-veloped from the hybrid combination F4 Slavia × ES Mentor for the traits of increased drought tolerance and reduced response to day length. The variety Krasa be-longs to the group of early maturing varieties, at the lati-tude of Krasnodar (45 °) it matures in 91 days and its yield is not inferior to the standard variety Barguzin. At the lat-itude of Samara (53°), it matures in 92 days, and its yield is significantly higher than the standard variety Samer 3. On average for 4 years (2020–2023), in a competitive va-riety trial in the Krasnodar region, its yield was 2.23 t/ha. In the competitive trial in the Samara region, the average yield for 2022–2023 was 2.59 t/ha. Plant height of soy-bean variety Krasa at the latitude of Krasnodar was on av-erage 70 cm. In the Samara region at the latitude of 53°, the plant height of the Krasa variety slightly increased to 80 cm. The new soybean variety Krasa is characterized by increased yield and short growth season in long-day conditions. This allows its cultivation in soybean farms in the Central, Central Chernozem, North Caucasus and Middle Volga regions of the Russian Federation.
