Early diagnosis and correction of thrombophilia for breast cancer patients under condition of neoadjuvant polychemotherapy according to CAF schedule

The present study was undertaken to evaluate the functional state of hemostasis system for breast cancer patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy according to CAF schedule. A total of 60 patients were included into the study. The study group comprised 30 patients who received chemotherapy under condition of correction with anticoagulant agents (fracsiparin). The control group consisted of 30 patients who received treatment without additional concomitant medications. The level of hemostasiological damage was studied using functional test (double local hypoxia of upper extremity). Decompensated type of hemostasis system reaction was revealed before treatment in each third patient. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy according to CAF schedule produces a 3,3-fold increase in the number of patients with decompensated type and indicates necessity of specific correction of throbophilia with anticoagulants. Administration of fracsiparin under condition of neoadjuvant chemotherapy reduces 2 times the number of patients with high risk of thrombosis development.
