Early pottery of Mesoamerica and Central America

This publication examines the geography and chronology of the spread of early ceramic complexes at the Pacific coast of Mesoamerica and Central America. The first traces of pottery production at the Central America belong to the Late Archaic period. Probably, this tradition enters the region from the south to the north direction through the trade routes from South America.
