A mathematical model of radiant heat transfer in the radiant chamber of a tube furnace is proposed, based on a numerical solution of the integrodifferential equation of radiation transfer with the corresponding boundary conditions. A detailed description of the calculation algorithm in the S4-approximation of the method of discrete ordinates is given.
