Calculation of complex heat transfer and flow field in a flat channel, approximately simulating a radiant chamber of tubular furnaces, is performed. The mathematical model is based on a joint solution of the system of equations of gas dynamics and energy transfer by radiation. The results of numerical calculations are compared with the experimental data.
