The problems of efficiency of thermal protective covers for barrels of tank guns. In particular, it assesses the effectiveness thermoprotective covers made of polymer composite-fiber materials with unilateral action of solar radiation on the barrels. Describes analytical-experimental assessment for determining the temperature field and thermoelastic deformation of the gun tube.
