Design of optical system containing collimator producing required irradiance distribution

Analytical expression for the illumination from the collimator in the superimposed plane is calculated. The design of optical system with collimator is presented. Gradient method of eikonal calculation was applied for producing required irradiance distribution. Eikonal is designed for generating an illumination in the form of a rectangle with the energy efficiency 83%, root-mean-square errors 11%.
