The article presents the results of excavations of two Tagar burial mounds (trench I) at the Domozhakov-6 burial ground in the Ust-Abakan District of the Khakassia Republic. The barrows were located at the edge of floodplain terrace 1 of the Abakan at 2.3 km northwest of the Domozhakov village. The burial mounds were part of a large burial site. The burial mounds differed from one another in size and complexity. Under the mound of barrow 9, two chronologically diverse fences built into one another, three attached fences of smaller sizes and seven stone grave structures were found. In barrow 10, there was one small, destroyed fence and two attached fences containing three graves. All noted archaeological features from the burial mounds can be classified into three chronological periods. The earliest fences and graves belong to the Bain stage of the Tagar culture (7th century BC) or, according to another cultural and chronological scheme, to the terminal stage of the Late Bronze Age (8th century BC). In barrow 9, the Bain graves were placed in enclosures attached to square enclosure 1, which was built of high thin slabs reinforced with perpendicular buttresses. All the graves in barrow 10 belong to the same period. The exterior fence 2 was built of massive slabs reinforced with rock fragments and river pebbles; the central grave in this fence belongs to the Bidzha stage of the Tagar culture (V century BC). Three children ’s graves in stone cists placed in the mound of barrow 9 belong to the Tesin stage of the Tagar culture or the Tesin culture (1st century BC - 1st century AD).
