Distribution of magnetic susceptibility in profiles of complex paleocryomorphic soils

We studied the spatial distribution of magnetic susceptibility (MS) in paleocryomorphic soils of Center of the East European Plain. It is found, that in interblock depressions over the system of large paleocryogenic wedge-shaped deformities there were areas with high values of MS and the increased depth. Moreover based on the MS we succeeded to detect signs which were difficult to determine morphologically in a field.
