Distribution of labor resources by regions of Russia: main trends in the historical aspect

The article studies the territorial features of the development of human capital in Russia in retrospective terms. It is noted that throughout the history of Russia, the problem of the distribution of labor resources in the Russian expanses has not found an optimal solution, and to date, this problem is also more than relevant. At the same time, both in the Russian Empire and in the USSR there is a positive experience that it is advisable to use even today, improving it in accordance with modern conditions.
