This article addresses the problem of optimal task allocation among forklifts in a food industry warehouse using mixed-integer linear programming methods. A mathematical formulation of the problem is presented, incorporating a multi-objective function aimed at minimizing total task completion time while maximizing the number of tasks accomplished. The model accounts for critical constraints including forklift productivity, availability, and task priorities, fully aligning with actual warehouse business processes. Computational results implemented in Python are provided. Based on the research findings, the study proposes further steps for performance improvement and discusses other relevant methods for solving the stated problem.
