Distribution grid company on the stock market: experience of Rosseti North-West PJSC

The article presents a study of the development of PJSC Rosseti North-West on the stock market: a historical overview of the process of forming the company's share capital and listing on the stock market, an analysis of the goals and results of this process, and highlighting its features. Based on the results of the study, it was determined that the placement of the company's shares on the stock exchange occurred as part of the reform of the electric power industry, aimed at increasing the efficiency of companies in the sector and the liquidity of their shares. PJSC Rosseti North-West does not belong to high-dividend or growing companies, its shares do not affect the dynamics of the main indices, and the capital raised on the market was not used for development purposes. However, it should be noted that the listing on the stock exchange contributed to achieving a high level of corporate governance of the company and increasing the liquidity of shares.
