Animal rabies spresding in the Republic of Tyva

The records on the outspread of rabies in the Republic of Tuva among farm, domestic and wild animals species were given. The incidence of animal rabies was analyzed in this area from 1979 to 2019 according to the annual reports of Republican Veterinary Laboratory, Republican Veterinary Department of Omsk Research Institute of Natural Focal Infections of Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection. Regional animal rabies manifestation peculiarity for certain periods was studied according to geographical position of the region, the environmental features of foci formation. The outspread of rabies in the republic depends not only on natural conditions, but also on the peculiarity of animal husbandry, which makes possible the contact between domestic and farm animals with wild all year round.
