Prevalence of thyroid pathology in children's population. Risk factors

The paper presents results of complex program aimed at o studying prevalence and risk factors of the thyroid gland diseases development in children of Seversk. The given program is a large-scale screening research of all children under study aged 4-9 years (3.191 persons). The study results revealed main risk factors of thyreopathies. Efficacy of screening measures of the thyroid gland diseases was assessed, correction of the disturbances revealed in persons of group at risk was performed.
