Equality of rights and freedoms of men and women in the economic sphere: legislative support

The article deals with the issue of legislative provision of gender equality in the economic sphere. The author notes several exclusive rights of women in the field of labour legislation, and there is also a tendency to reduce the list of previously "inaccessible" types of work. It is proposed to introduce new measures to prevent infringement of women's rights by employers. The author believes that the numerical advantage of women does not give them the great opportunity to take a high position in the labour market due to a number of reasons, which include biological, physiological and other reasons.
