Separation of the system 1-propanol - 1-propyl formate by deep eutectic solvent (chloride choline: glutaric acid) at 313.15 K

The separation of mixture 1-propanol - 1-propyl formate by deep eutectic solvent (DES)based on choline chloride was investigated. The liquid-liquid equilibria for the system 1-propanol - 1-propyl formate - DES were studied at 313.15 K and atmospheric pressure. Compositions of coexisting equilibrium phases were determined by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The efficiency of separation of the system 1-propanol - 1-propyl formate by the DES formed by choline chloride (ChCl) with glutaric acid (Glu) was evaluated by calculating distribution coefficients and selectivity values. Correlation of experimental LLE data by NRTL equation was carried out.
