The Siberian shape peach Bubnovsky became famous in 1963, when the Omsk amateur gardener Vladimir Afanasievich Bubnov was able to grow and distribute it throughout the Omsk region. The article traces the chronology of historical events on the origin of this shape peach, based on the analysis of the experience of gardeners engaged in this culture. In many amateur gardens of the Irtysh region, this fruit crop grows and bears fruit to this day. The popularity of the shape peach Bubnovsky among Omsk residents is due to the taste qualities of the fruits, which are much higher than imported fruits. Amateur gardeners grow planting material from seeds. Therefore, the task of this work was to test the effectiveness of two methods of culture propagation: seed and vegetative. In the experiment, preparations of chemical and biological nature were used, which, according to their potential capabilities, on the one hand, could increase the effectiveness of the studied methods of reproduction, and on the other hand, ensure the ecological purity of the applied technology. It is well known that the problem of biologization of the agricultural sector is one of the most important in modern agriculture. Microbiological preparations with a multifunctional effect are used to stimulate growth, relieve stress, replace mineral fertilizers, reduce nitrates, suppress phytopathogens and ensure soil sanitation. The results obtained over two years indicate the low efficiency of the applied methods of propagation of peach culture in Western Siberia. The efficiency of seed propagation was 20-38.8%, and vegetative propagation by green cuttings was 10-24%. But not all methods of reproduction of this fruit crop have been studied and there is a need to continue the search for more effective methods of reproduction.
