Strengthening the geopolitical and resource-economic significance of the Arctic and the implementation of the transport and transit potential of the Arctic zone of Russia determines the relevance of the accelerated development of this region. The key condition to achieve these goals is to ensure the development of transport and logistics infrastructure (primarily the Northern Sea Route). Thereby, the objective stated requires a powerful Arctic fleet and with safe and high-quality radio navigation equipment. Such a responsible mission can only be entrusted to reliable and experienced service companies that have a good reputation and have proven themselves in the market with high quality products and a level of service. Which is why it is necessary to conduct a comparative assessment of competing companies, considering various factors that are crucial in this industry. The study aims to conduct a comparative assessment of companies operating in the radio navigation equipment service market. Achieving this goal is accompanied by the solution of a few tasks, namely: identifying factors and sources of competitiveness; development of an assessment methodology and its application on the example of well-known service companies; analysis of the specifics of doing business in the market from the point of view of the organization's interaction with its external microenvironment. As a result of the study, the most efficient and competitive company was identified, whose business model can provide high-quality service for the shipborne radio navigation equipment of the Arctic fleet and thereby contribute to the speedy development ofpromising areas of the Arctic.
