Bauxite development in the Republic of Guinea

The article is devoted to the consideration of the development processes of the mining industry using the example of bauxite mining in the Republic of Guinea. It is noted that the extraction of minerals, which Guinea is very rich in, is of strategic importance for the country's economy. Despite the great importance of the mining sector, there are many unresolved problems in this area. One of the important steps that contribute to the sustainable development of Guinea is the country's accession to the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI).
