A solution for the development of a receiving sensor for a mid-field magnetic resonance tomograph used to study bird embryos is presented. Models of previously used sensors and a new sensor are shown. The developed sensor consists of four consecutive turns with a diameter of 60 mm and is characterized by optimal impedance parameters for the operating frequency of the tomograph of 17.5 MHz. The evaluation of the signal noise showed that the signal-to-noise ratio improved by 7.7 times and provided greater accuracy in measuring the integral characteristics. The comparability of images of duck embryos obtained on a magnetic resonance tomograph with a newly developed sensor with images of anatomical embryos was established. The embryo, yolk and white of the egg were visualized on the 4th day of incubation. The prospects for further studies on magnetic resonance imaging are due to the expansion of the possibilities of using a new sensor to determine non-invasively the viability of embryos by fluctuations of the heart and blood vessels in the early stages of incubation.
