The early diagnosis of limb diseases of cattle and the efficient care for hooves are the key to the productive longevity of animals. The development and implementation of new effective methods of disease prevention can prolong the period of the economic use of cows and increase the profitability of agricultural enterprises. Distal extremity diseases develop due to primary mechanical damage, deformation, maceration of horn and their further infection. In cattle, in the vast majority of cases, the causative agents of surgical infections are various microbial associations. Due to changes in the environmental conditions, under the influence of physical exertion and stress, the protective functions of the body are significantly reduced. These factors contribute to stimulating the activity of pathogens, including the causative agent of necrobacillosis.
