The device for applying compression circulating anastomosis (CCA) in which the compression power is produced by means of titanium nickel spring with shape memory has been designed. Working heads of the device have 3 dimensions (20, 22 and 24 mm) that make it possible to use them for anastomized organs of various diameters. Experiments on animals have shown that es- ophageal-gastric anastomosis with high mechanical strength and biologic impermeability can be quickly formed. This device was applied in climcal settings for creating esophageal-intestinal and esophageal-gastric anastomoses in 39 patients with gastric and esophageal cancers.
