For all market participants, depending on specifi c characteristics, it is possible to determine the feasibility of using logistics in making management decisions and the degree of its integration into the activities of the enterprise. The logistics service is one of the most important elements of the internal environment of the enterprise, affecting its successful functioning. It is the Logistics Service at the enterprise that performs management functions related to the administration and coordination of commercial and technological processes. With the growth of production volume, the complexity of logistics chains increases and the role of employees in achieving the main goals of the enterprise increases. One of the problems in organizing the logistics service is the lack of organizational and functional fl exibility, weak coordination and low involvement of employees in solving the tasks. Employees must not only be competent, but also maximally involved in the implementation of the enterprise’s goals. There is a direct linear relationship between data-driven decision-making and indicators of the main factors determining income and cost effi ciency. A culture that allows and, indeed, encourages reporting on process results and provides an opportunity to measure process improvement initiatives is the best way to monitor progress in achieving goals. The article identifi es logistics processes and problems associated with their functioning. The article presents the results of the analysis of lean manufacturing tools application in the logistics industry, and studies the experience of their implementation in individual companies. A project approach for lean manufacturing tools implementation has been implemented, which has increased the effi ciency of the enterprise logistics service workfl ow. Project risks have been identifi ed and assessed. A cascade model of logistics service goals, a tool for assessing the quality and effi ciency of logistics processes, and forms for visualizing reporting on the process and employees have been developed. The effects of tool implementation have been calculated. The proposed approach refl ects the relationship between the requirements of national standards, modern publicly available digital solutions, and the integration of lean manufacturing tools.
