Healthy animals are needed to increase the production of livestock products, in particular milk and dairy products. The article presents the development of an intelligent algorithm for weighing dairy cows, which makes it possible to automate part of the grading work. The data already known in the farm are fed into the algorithm: the number of the cow tag, the fact that the cow is on the weighing platform, the actual weight (measured by the weight platform used), data on the breed (black-motley and Holsteinized breeds are used in the work), the age of the weighed animal, month of pregnancy (if any). The data is transferred from the breeding card of the animal, which is linked manually to the RFID tag number. An RFID tag is attached to the animal's neck, which is read by an identification antenna when entering the machine. The algorithm determines both animal development indicators (actual weight, kg; absolute growth rate up to 18 months, kg; relative growth, % up to 18 months), and slaughter indicators (blood, kg; skin, kg; head and legs, kg; internal organs, kg; internal fat, kg). The results of the algorithm calculations are recorded in the animal card and are available for evaluation and comparison.
