Development of an interface for the system of collecting ornaments

The article deals with development of an information resource containing the samples of ornamental motifs and compositions within the project of Russian Foundation for Basic Research. The main task is to create comfortable interface not only for user but also for experts who work with ornament database. In the article we describe the basic techniques to solve the problems of usability in the process of filling interactive ornament database.
