The content of the elective course as a variative component is examined in the article, the age and psychological and pedagogical characteristics of schoolchildren are highlighted too . The relevance of the course is in the fact that the teacher, because of the absence of a system of work on the use of synthesis and analysis, classification and generalization, analogy and abstraction, does not always have time to give the principles and methodology of logic at Mathematics lessons. Classes of the elective course which were carried out with the students of the 5th grade at the KSU "Comprehensive School No. 10 of the Education Department of the Zhitikara District" of the Education Department of the Akimat of Kostanay region, contribute to the development of logical thinking, attention, memory, The theoretical aspects, the method of using tasks to solve logical problems and the practical part of the study of the elective course "Solving logical problems" were revealed in the work .
