Development of the computer program of pig banded chromosomes automatic classification

The original version for fully automatic classification of GTG-banded pig chromosomes was developed using «Video TesT-Karyo 3.1» computer program. The authors estimate the accuracy of automatic classification of pig chromosomes on normal metaphase plates and following reciprocal translocation of chromosomes. The causes of errors during automatic classification of pig chromosomes, the procedure of their correction and the area of application of the obtained program were discussed.
