Development of the concept of integration of digital tourism platforms

Tourism platforms play an important role in the tourism industry. The market of IT services in tourism is fragmented, which makes it difficult to find the necessary services. The integration of platforms is of key importance for ensuring interaction with users and the growth of the tourism business. The purpose of the study is to develop an effective conceptual framework for the integration of digital tourism platforms. The following tasks were performed in the article: the current situation with digital platforms was analyzed, a literature review was performed, current cases of software platforms in tourism were studied, a conceptual model of an integration platform in the tourism industry was proposed. In the course of the analysis, three most frequently used industry integration solutions are considered: Open Travel Alliance, service-oriented architecture and corporate service bus. A hybrid approach to the integration of the API and the corporate service bus can offer the most effective solution and it was the basis of the developed conceptual model. The developed concept can serve as a basis for software development and testing of the proposed platform.
