This article discusses a conceptual framework that has four main principles: the principle of choosing a goal based on valency, the principle of choosing a goal based on expectation, the principle of realizing a goal, and the principle of achieving a goal. These principles have consequences that expand the logic of the proposed theoretical relationships.
