Development of laboratory establishment for electrophysical impact on grain layer with various density

Crop production is largely associated with a number of external factors that affect productivity, quality and cost of production. A significant part of the cost (20-40%) occurs on post-harvest processing, storage and preparation for feeding. These processes include drying, decontamination, steaming, micronisation, etc. The productivity of drying units, including units of active ventilation can be increased both by increasing the number and geometric dimensions of devices, more efficient use of their operating time (reduction of preparations and final operations), and intensification by reducing the exposure to drying. The use of these two methods of increasing productivity usually leads to an increase in capital or operating costs, since this is interreleated to additional costs for increasing the capacities of the apparatus, additional fuel consumption, electricity, drying agent, and so on. The work describes the developing a laboratory facility for researching technologies of electrical technologies in the process of grain processing. The paper gives examples of existing laboratory equipment for the implementation of electrophysical effects on grains. Requirements are formulated, which must be met by the developed installation. As a result, conclusions are given on the applicability of the developed facility and on what research can be carried out.
